The truth on the other hand, is the unshakable reality that has driven every sanction, every sabotage attempt, and every assassination plot since 1959: Cuba is a threat only to an idea. This is not an ‘embargo’, which I consider to be a sterile, political term. It is a total blockade, designed to constrict and cripple. Punishing the populations with sanctions and embargoes only cements regimes in power, as they are attacked by more powerful forces and people naturally rally around the flag. It hurts the people, and accomplishes nothing. Our leaders have no vision, no understanding, and are rotten pieces of shit to boot, rotten and rottener.
I hate to be pedantic, and I don’t mean to diminish the scale of injustice being committed against Cuba, but I can name quite a few worse crimes the US has committed.
I mean slow genocide, fast genocide, a bombs, sdf forces…at some point you either acknowledge that evil knows no bounds or you don’t.
I guess if other parts of the world try to aid Cuba they’ll have tariffs slapped on them. Fuck trump and his minions.
The blockade is 62 years old. The world leaders are simply fine with it while pretending otherwise
And for 67 years, the United States has been committing this crime against the people of Cuba.
While there’s no bad time to cuss Trump, given the scale and length of the blockade this is more “death to America” material.
