The WORST kind of shithead is the one who does shitty things because they’re technically legal.

The kid in the original video didn’t need to walk around school ‘protesting’ his support of the status quo. He didn’t need to act like he was some kind of fucking minority. Then as soon as his actions met any kind of negative (to him) repercussions he was all like “THAT’S ILLEGAL”.

And I don’t wish pain or injury on him. I just wish him to fuck off. I nothing him. I wish him a future where he can look back upon this episode with shame that he was such a piece of shit at this stage in his life.

    But he won’t.

The usual shitehawks and grifters will champion him for their own gain, they’ll inflate him and make him feel important, and at worst he’ll end up becoming a figurehead for the oppressed, silent, majority. A silent majority who I wish would shut the fuck up once in a while.

This kid overnight became the coolest kid in school, maybe the coolest kid in any school.

    Boy is an icon.

I hope he did not get into trouble for this. Even though I would not have choosen violence, I can clearly understand him.

The administration probably suspended him and gave the nazi extra credit or something. Not because they had to, but because they wanted to.

Yes, everyone can have an opinion with free speech. But if all of us must face consequences, then racist assholes should too.

Bold artwork definitely gets attention. At the same time, it’s probably worth remembering that real change tends to come from organizing, dialogue, and consistent civic action more than just imagery.

I think a good way to put this is that the fanart represents a reaction to the promotion of violence.

All action against fascism is correct, including but not limited to violence.

Well I’m not sure about that (“all” and “correct”), but I’m pretty sure anyone promoting violence can expect being punched.

Being tolerant doesn’t mean tolerating intolerance, just the same, promoting peace doesn’t mean a peaceful response hate.

I support violence against those who are violent.

The guy who was punched was technically not violent. He was rather promoting violence (promoting ICE, who has shown excessive use of force/excessive violence). The guy who punched reacted violently against a guy who promoted violence. I’m looking for common ground between the guy who punched, and the security personnel called to the scene.

If you are in the same room as a Nazi and you are not punching the Nazi there are two Nazis in the room.

I would like to officially nominate that kid for office of the President of the USA 2028.
