The leaders of the far-right Golden Dawn party were convicted in Greece of having led a criminal organization in a landmark ruling in 2020. An appeals court upheld that decision.
It‘s a lot more direct in terms of dealing with them. Because Germans simply… doesn‘t. Meanwhile the AfD has more convicted violent criminals with a mandate than any other party in Germany. I have no doubt they have a basement full of corpses.
AFAIK, the AfD does a lot of illegal shit (mostly corruption, nazi propaganda and generally trying to incite violence), but they’re not quite on the level of personally sending out thugs to “deal” with people they hate.
You’re not wrong about German governments refusing to deal with them, though. Honestly somewhat surprised that the conservative party didn’t already enter into a coalition with them.
