For nearly two weeks Israel has been pounding swathes of Lebanon. Bel Trew and Rana Najjar report from Tyre, in the south of the war-ravaged country, as it is locked in a fierce battle with the Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah
The Lebanese people are getting sick of Hezbollah, which has again launched hundreds of missles and drones into Israel, forcing this response. Hezbollah is afraid of losing its golden parachute from Iran.
Not excusing anything the Iranian regime has done but maybe committing war crimes in the West Bank, Gaza, and other places also doesn’t endear you to folks around you, especially when your entire country is centered on literally taking land from those around you since its inception?
