Virginians voted Tuesday to redraw their state’s congressional map, approving a ballot measure to give Democrats as many as four additional seats. Republicans are flipping their lids.
Fox News commentator Laura Ingraham called the result a “Total travesty!!” on X, while MAGA pundit Juanita Broaddrick said, “No fucking way this is legit.” Right-wing troll Phillip Buchanan, known as Catturd on X, said, “What a fcking joke.”
Republican politicians also went into hysterics, with House Speaker Mike Johnson accusing Democrats of showing “how far they will go to break the law, ‘wage warfare,’ and disenfranchise millions of voters in order to force their unwanted, radical agenda down the throats of every American.”

I was at a dinner and sat near a guy who didn’t know what this election was about.
Me: The amendment allows Virginia to redraw maps to counter-act the maps that Republicans are drawing in other states
Guy: gerrymandering is already bad. Why should we make people in Virginia suffer for what’s happening elsewhere?
Me: because gerrymandering is what’s making Republicans stay in power.
Guy: what’s wrong with that?
Me: because they are being assholes
Guy: but they were voted in.
Me: but after gerrymandering illegally I might add. Democratic states are trying to level the playing field.
Guy: just because Democrats do it legally doesn’t make it any less wrong.
The exchange told me everything I needed to know about the guy.
Typical embarrassed conservative. They know just enough to know not to admit they support Republicans in public.
