To be fair, unlike Russia, Ukraine is not bombing civilians, so while still shocking, I believe for them a bigger problem (edit: threat*) is Putin, not Ukraine.
Most would consider causing a chemical disaster harming civilians. I get Ukraine is trying to take out resources but let’s not frame this as good for anyone

Why is anyone in Russia bemused that Russian civilians get killed while conducting war against their neighbour, that’s an unserious position to take, they are at least partially responsible for this, as this Russian points out.
