I don’t even have an exact answer for myself, but I do find myself being happy when I’ve managed to fix something like a vehicle, got a shower later, and crack open a cold beer.
What brings you joy/happiness?

Pleasure/ease is not happiness, as I have been a directionless, purposeless NEET with no responsibilities but enough disposable income to finance my hedonism, and a full-time worker, part-time student married man, and the former made me suicidal after a while. If you’re lucky enough that you can just basically live like a pig, rolling in your own filth and just chilling until death, then good for you (not you, OP, just the “global” you 😅) but I can’t.
I’d say “the feeling/mental state resulting from realising you’re living according to your values (which involves identity and self esteem), with defined objectives, balancing duty and pleasure/ease and in the momentary absence of great emotional pain/distress”. Or something like that. 👍
