The day I pulled up to a campsite and saw a tent with a hole cut in the bottom so they could fit an A/C through. Who wants to listen to that all night?

The AC sound is preferable to the sound of my sweat dripping into a puddle when it’s 90F in the tent, (that’s 32.2 in water obsessed units) and 90RH.

Now, the gas generator sounds… (Solar batteries for camping exist now, so at least that is less of a problem)

I… Huh. We have a little shoe pocket (the instructions call it a vestibule) in our tent. I’ve been wanting to add solar power to the equipment. A little a/c unit with hoses would work pretty well through that “vestibule” if I could seal up the mesh windows on the tent.
