I picked out this… thing. The duvet cover had eaten everything in the machine and turned itself into a postmodern textile art piece.

My washing machine ones created a giant extremelly heavy clump of sheets, started shaking like crazy and with the vibrations drove away from the wall which resulted in the dryer on top almost falling

I have a combo machine that used to do the Melbourne Shuffle until I put it on rubber feet and lowered the centrifuge speed. Now it is happy twerking mostly in place.

I might consider that… Although it only happened once, so we’ll see if something similar happens again :D

Hmm I need to move mine out of the tiny closet they put it in to redo some ductwork I did poorly when the outside duct froze closed over the winter. Moving them at all was a bitch to the point I taped ratchet straps in place for the next time I needed to move them, but the tape failed and now the one strap is behind the machine. I can get another one behind it, though it will be at risk of messing up the duct where it comes out of the dryer. I’m tempted to knock out the wall beside it and install another door for maintenance access because of how annoying they are to move.
