Wasn’t the first season also bad? I never watched because nothing can beat the original.
It was a modern life action adaptation. So, basically they took a story which was great, sanded off all the corners and pointy bits that might have bothered anyone at any time, and made it the blandest version possible.
God forbid someone is less-than-perfect in order to have character growth later. Can’t have that!
