I am ‘bossman’ to the guy in my nearest Mr. Shop, and my nearest chicken shop. So. Bossman.
Brochacho if you wanna spice it up with some Spanish.
Bromine, because I’m volatile and ready to fart anytime.
I like “cuz” because while we are not all “bros” we are all distant cousins.
Brometheus
Brosef
I identify as “my dude”
I bet you’re looking forward to tomorrow, then!

ooooooOOOOOOOOH
For um “honouns” (maybe not!) I’ll never turn down a “Hun” or a “Babes”, maybe a “Girlfriend”. But if I get a “Gorgeous”, “Queen” or “Diva”, I can use my laser beam eyes and super strength
We do need some awesome forms of address including the word sis like guys do with bro
That said I always feel most powerful with a casual “sister”
I like using ‘Love’.
Hey love, how was your day?
Care to enjoy some fine kitten-naming, m’lady?
I’m partial to Homie/Comrade personally.
Is mixing those together where “commie” comes from?
Broseph Stalin
Nah, that’s where we get homerad
Wrote the odysserad
Ah yes, the famous sequel to the ilirad
Pretty sure they shortened coummunist to get commie but I ain’t no linguist
It’s okay: I’m a commielinguist and can certify what I said.
Seize the meaning of broduction
Redistribute the swellth
Commence consentual commielingus
I’ll be anyone’s red scare.
I happen to be a cunning linguist
A while back my work told us to stop using the word “guys” when referring to groups of people since it wasn’t inclusive.
I switched to “homies” and honestly it’s better in all situations.
big turds working wherever i go
Some people call me boss, it’s very affirming but I’m not sure why they do it. I’m a low wage worker that’s slightly weird and awkward
I’m real tired, boss, real tired.
Im the some people. I call a lot of folks boss. Held the door for me? Thanks boss. Pumped my gas? Thanks boss. Thanked me? No problem boss.
This is me also. I don’t know where I picked it up from.
My most recent job has a couple of Spanish guys that call the actual boss man “jefe” and he (the whitest guy ever) responds well to it. I think that’s fun. I don’t know if I can get away with it, though, also being one of the whitest guys ever.
Chief maybe? Chef? Jeffy?
I got this a lot when I was an actual boss. It was always done in a brotherly, jokingly left-handed, kind of way. This fits perfectly with my management style. It was nice.
When I was a kid, there was a food truck we’d occasionally visit, where the vendor would address us as Chief. “Good afternoon, chief, what’ll it be?” “Coming right up, chief” “Here you go, chief” “Have a great day, chief!”
I loved it as a kid. Not sure how I’d feel about it today, but it absolutely was an effective contribution to us going back there frequently.
That’s how I feel about “Big Dawg.” I’m not that big, and not that much of a dog.
Ok but getting called brother by a stranger is pretty validating
I agree with you, brother
Thanks brother
I’m Gen-X so I’m gonna go with classic “Dude.”
