Not only is it real, its a thing he has done on multiple occasions. Here’s the grossest one:

bikes delivering scooters delivering skateboards delivering rollerblades delivering heelies
Open with a sound clip of some dude venting about his feelings in public, slap some twinkly guitars on it, and you got the makings of a mediocre midwest emo song

Well it certainly is a shit post
Eh, it’s a distinctive style. If you workshop it and you like the result, great. If you don’t, thats fine too. They’re funny and now that I know what to expect I can read the nose for what it is. I happen to like your comics quite a bit even if I have been wondering why your characters are so smug and/or content all the time. I thought it was part of the humor ;-)
For me I think part of the problem is my brain fails to notice the nose in panels that have mouths, and therefore I expect to see a mouth but not a nose in panels woth no mouths. Idk if that helps or even makes sense
oh fuck they’re NOSES. I feel so dumb lmao
Sounds like a plan! Sure, why not? I’m there!

Am I missing something or did you just quote their first sentence and then restate the second

I know it’s a distraction but I abhor the way the man speaks.
“I was informed this morning by the joint chiefs of staff that at so and so time in such and such operating theater we lost communication with blahblah asset. All US service members were recovered safely with no loss of life. We are committed to peace, but if this was, as we believe it to be, a violation of the ceasefire agreement, this provocation cannot go unanswered. I am urgently seeking communications with the leadership of the IRGC and am directing our forces in the region to move to a state of enhanced readiness.”
“Army told me IRAN shot down our very fancy helicopter in operating theater, amazing pilots safe but now im mad. I’m gonna bomb them back >:( >:( >:(”
That’s the american dream right there.

Lemmy Commenter Eviscerates CNBC Over Editorial Practices

If one shingle breaks yeah you wouldn’t want to huff it, but realistically dilution would mean the tiny amount released is next to harmless. Asbestos is an extreme occupational hazard for people unlucky enough to have worked with it, but for most extant asbestos material the best practice is to leave in place.

Re: other shapes, they have to be tesselations of repeating regular polygons. I would refuse to call the one on the right a grid:

And this one is right out:

Edit: I have been informed that the Escher tesselation pictured is in fact a grid and am now in a foul mood.

“Why the hell do people keep letting ducks loose on my bus?”

“the back” is a distribution center a couple towns over, because modern retail is a tightly integrated and logistics heavy industry. How don’t you know this Carol? This has been the standard for like 40 years CAROL

Those transmission losses don’t have immediate health and environmental costs, though, and even discounting those there’ll be conversion losses on both ends (e: for chemical energy carriers) if what we want to get out of it is usable electricity from renewables. Dont take my skepticism for poohpoohing btw, this kind of counterintuitive thinking is one of the more fascinating things about economics. Or maybe I just like to argue :P
I’ll look up the paper, this is an interesting topic.
aw fuck nothing changed, that must mean my shitty sleep schedule and general malaise are not a curse but are in fact the consequences of my own choices
