Sorry. A lot of people thought Harris was just as bad and don’t like elections. Also, the quality of marksmanship has gone down significantly.

And those kind of comments are how Trump got into office.

But also Putin isn’t a war criminal right? And China hasn’t been trying to slow walk a genocide in Tibet? There are no reeducation camps for Uighur muslims or Tibetans?

        Okay.

            Uh huh.

But the reeducation camps the United States government forced indigenous Americans into was definitely genocide. Same banana.

And no that is not how you get more leftists. Education is how you get more. This generation is 100% more right wing than the media wants to admit

Also it’s spelled Kamala, maybe don’t talk about a country you’ve probably never even been to so confidently.

Frightful times breed frightful people. Being ‘left’ in the US means to be a hypocritical, moralist neoliberal, so don’t expect the revolution to start anytime soon.

I don’t want a revolution. Revolutions look nice on paper and being decades or centuries away from them seem nice but revolutions cause extreme instability that open up space for corruption and allow the very people you’re often trying to help fall through the cracks.

We didn’t get the 40 hour work week because people fought and died for it, unfortunately. It might have brought the conversation forward but it likely delayed results as states prioritize control and stability and will increase their means of violence to do so. We got the 40 hour work week because the right people were elected.

Unfortunately the same with slavery but in an odd opposite way. The civil war ended slavery, but only because increasingly officials who were anti slavery were elected and that put pressure on southern states to engage in violence as they feared slavery would end. Which caused the government to increase their means of violence and force stability, ending slavery.

The solution is obvious, educated people make better decisions including electing better officials and they will steer society the right way. Currently the level of frustration has made people close off their opinions, disengage from electoral processes and regress back into factions prone to infighting. I fear a revolution, it will immediately land on the feet of the poor, destitute and desperate and harm them probably killing the very people a revolution is supposed to help.

I’m not preaching total non-violence here. There will be violence. But starting a full blown revolution is not the path forward in my opinion. Regardless of how people want to portray it stability is way closer than it seems, uniting together and education are the shortest paths to it.

And people who comment that harris and trump are the same are actively ruining those avenues to a solution because often they’re not interested in a solution they’re interested in being right and being heard and making people believe they are right.

                That’s just my take though.

Liberal corporatism may look different from conservative corporatism, but its still corporatism. The democrats are the go-to party for leftists, but not because they are actually a ‘left’ party. Change would require a whole new political vision for US society. We’ve seen what the Republicans think is the right way to go, the Democrats are simply doing what they always do; moderate and conform.

But we aren’t going to get there by smashing thousands of souls into a war likely not to end with results that are good.

Ranked voting, removing the two party dominance, term limits, openness about where funding is going and the end of this whole government hides behind choices to fight “terrorism” or whatever they sell needs to end. That won’t happen with violence.

Lmfao. No the 100 million dead native Americans are what makes what the US did a genocide.

I agree, education is key, which is why china’s leaders are 60% stem degree holders lol.

I couldn’t give less of a fuck on how to spell a war criminal removed name.

You’re looking for someone to be angry at who will respond. You’re likely not going to find it on your home instance, so you’re here. You want to rage.

And you’re not serious because you haven’t responded to any of the arguments that I’ve made. You’ve chosen to insult then try to instill a civility that you won’t abide by.

You don’t want to be serious, you want to be angry.

People forget that in the rather crowded primary she was one of the least popular candidates and one of the first to crash out. And that was even before anyone knew about her dumber policy positions. So, justified or not, we knew people wouldn’t enthusiastically show up for her.

What I am trying to say, and the reason you’re getting down voted for a dumbass opinion, is that for any and ALL reasons you could possibly come up with about her being a bad candidate, trump is objectively 10-100x WORSE on exactly the same reason… Plus 100x extra insane and horrible policies for each of those 1 arguments you made a dumbass comment about.

No one said anything about “history starting” on Trump’s 2nd term. I’m saying you OBJECTIVELY are ignoring facts, and it makes your comment, and you for making it, look stupid.

I HATE our two party system more than anyone, but I’ll bet you either voted for trump, didn’t vote, or voted third part during the recent presidential election. IMO, the current state of the US is a direct outcome of your stupidity, and stupid people like you. That, or your not from the US, in which case STFU.

And Americans are easily manipulated and believed trump when he pretended to be anti war, while kamala leaned into the war mongering. It’s not the fault of Americans that they’re tremendously stupid, but it should be a consideration to any intelligent politician. It wasn’t this time around and now we have the acceleration of American fascism.

Edit: I’m not American. Death to America. Your piece of shit country will invade mine before your dumbass midterms.

Well, in this case I am sorry, my country shouldn’t be invading any other countries. I will agree with this, death to American fascism. But don’t let the these maga scum fool you, you say it’s not their fault. While a small group were “useful” idiots and got scammed into this, a much larger group are just racist pos. It is absolutely insane the amount of brainwashed idiots walking around in this country.

It’s disgusting! It makes me fucking sick. It’s called controlled opposition. The American political system is a total fucking joke and completely rigged against the American people, bought and paid for by large corporate interests. That’s capitalism and is breaking our entire human society.

As an American tho, during the recent presidential election, I sadly knew that voting for her was the ONLY OPTION to prevent the COMPLETE FREE FALL into fascism we have right now. I know it sadly would not fix all the currently broken aspects of our country, but it prevent what now have… Genocide in Gaza, fully funded my my fucking tax dollars, while trump, his ghoulish family, and Nazi wanna be goons rape the rest of the world and laugh about it.

Even you have been fucking duped into thinking this is a red vs blue issue in America, this a fucking war being waged against the American people by billionaires man. Red Blue, dem republican… That’s the talking points were supposed to be arguing over so stop regurgitating that bullshit and get it straight. This is the 0.01% vs the rest of the world.

                    Edit: not
