Even ARM doesn’t lead x86 on power consumption enough anymore to use a mobile OS instead of a desktop OS.
Add that we have high power USB C charging everywhere for our phones it’s no longer a challenge when I do need power (about once a day) with a 2019 laptop.

Because they plan on everyone being a thinclient to the cloud in the future.
