That depends on if you are a psychopath or not
Sock shoe for me. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. There’s no amount of sweeping and two Roombas that gets all the hair, even with hardwood flooring.
Sock/shoe then shoe if you’re playing dwarf fortress…
sock/sock shoe/shoe because I put in my socks in the bedroom but don’t put in my shoes until I get to the closet by the front door.
Sock/sock then shoe/shoe. Because I’m not a psychopath…
Anyone wearing one sock and shoe with one fully naked foot is either deeply deranged or some kind of alien pod person. It is a pale approximation of human behavior. Unless you are stumbling away from a grenade attack or something, there is no reason to ever exist like that, even momentarily.
Sock/sock, then shoe/shoe, because the shoes are in a different room. Walking around in shoes indoors is a big nono.
Shoes belong in the entryway. Socks in the bedroom. Socks will always be put on before shoes.
There are a couple of niche situations where one might put socks and shoes on at the same time/place, but the norm of socks first then travelling to the shoes dictates that socks first, shoes after.
The one exception is when for example, changing in a public space, or outside, where you don’t want to get your sock dirty, so you put sock then shoe and then sock then shoe
100% this
Sock, sock shoe, shoe.
Usually because I put my socks on in the bedroom, but my shoes are by the back door: i don’t put them on unless I am going outside.
I like to be different and go shoe/sock
Shoe/shoe then sock/sock so your shoes don’t get dirty
Makes sense - socks are way cheaper than shoes!
Sock, sock, show, shoe.
Sometimes you grab two socks and then one of the socks is wrong. I’m not walking around in one shoe to fix my sock problem.
Sock/sock and then shoe/shoe, BECAUSE the shoes may not be in the same room as the socks.
How do you like them apples?
Sock/sock, then shoe/shoe. If you had to RUN FOR YOUR LIFE in the middle of putting on shoes, would you rather have one shoe on or two socks on?
Depends on my mood. I’m a moody person.
