All the locals in the town share the same looks and hair as the solider pictured. Implying that when the soldier says “this is the town my pappy told me about” it’s likely because his father slept with (or raped) many of the locals when he was stationed there.
I don’t see anything there indicating he was making comics glorifying rape… unless you’re calling out me saying it’s boomer humor, which I guess is fair, it’s greatest generation humor?
