Usually I will asked, " sounds like you might have served? What unit were you with?" The response is almost always, " I was not in the military." I am MAGA-passing and ex-military. I most certainly run in conservative crowds and they are far far more hateful and violent than the more liberal groups I attend. Go into any gun shop, shooting range, biker bar, golf course, strip club, rodeo…if it leans conservative and you listen, or initiate more violent rhetoric, it will be met with approval.
