      Oh dear. You kids would have died by regular banter on the old internets.

      I barely dare mention it was just a few hours of dial-up screen time a day, on the shared family computer… and only if you did your chores.

      So you should really be more tolerant with this irreparable trauma we carry.

          A word of advice with the best of intentions:

          Don’t get so worked up about shit online.

          A lazy teen not having access to their phone for some fifteen minutes because they haven’t done their chores in four hours isn’t the end of the world for them.

          It certainly shouldn’t push your cortisol levels through the roof either.

          For all we know none of this is even true.
