My small rural town, which is clearly thee more smaller and ruraler than thou… still has a 1970s style pump with the big flip up handles and you have to stop it yourself and the numbers are on a physical wheel that rolls. Better think twice before claiming rural there city boi!!
This guy gets it. But ya in fairness you have to have a post office to be considered an actual town. Delivery cars need gas stations. Your rural town is limited to 3 businesses one of which must be a gas station.
Rural town near me has 3 gas stations, and they all have them.
They’re also all owned by the same guy and the prices are like 60-70 cents higher than any of the neighboring cities, but since it’s 20 miles to a station he doesn’t own he gets away with it.

We had a store like that, but it closed a couple of years ago. It was also the highest priced gas for the three closest stores.
