Not it’d go up the chimney and you’d waste a ton of money.

If you closed thr chimney then it’d smoke so must you’d be forced to leave the house due to lack of oxygen. You would get high but it would not be a good way.

Does your house fill with wood smoke when you use your fireplace? Of course not, it goes up the chimney. That’s what’s going to happen to your reefer smoke, too.

Just a waste of good ganja. Just toss a bunch of joints on the coffee table, and invite everyone to blaze up.

Fireplaces have a flue. If you close it the smoke has no where to go but the house.

The whole idea still smacks of dumbfuckery, don’t get me wrong; but its not as much of a lost cause as you’re thinking.

I mean that very literally. Everybody in the house will die. Carbon monoxide poisoning. Don’t ever do this.

It will be just a waste of pot. If you have the money then the limit is the sky if you don’t just roll a bunch of joints and give one to everyone at arrival. The result will be the same anyway.(Supposing you will not spend a kilo of weed rolling joints), anyway if you vaporize it someway you will get more stoned people out of it.

Been a long time since I drank, but if I put beer into a bunch of IV bags and injected everyone in my family, would they get drunk?

Hahahahaha!! Of course this is a stoner question! XD

Yeah, don’t do this, unless everyone consents to it, you or someone within the participants actually own the place you’re doing this in, you have a fire escape planned out, you have a smart way to put out the fire if it gets to big, you all have a way to air out the place when it gets to be to much, etc.

For starters, to actually benefit the most from the cannabis (pot) trichomes, you actually want to basically cook it instead of catching it on fire. Similar to vaping. These are the tempratures you want to achieve for each cannabinoid to be released from the dried bud.

! Take note of the Benzene warning !

Fireplace fires range in temperatures of 200°F-1,200°F.

Consent is far and away the biggest concern here.

The benzene produced in a combustion temperature and oxygen rich environment like an open fireplace would immediately burn into CO/2 and water. That warning applies to vaporizers. Even then you’re probably more exposed to benzene fueling up at a gas station. That said I agree you should avoid it where you can especially when it’s getting shot straight into your lungs.

Yes, combustion in both glass and joints is pretty inefficient at converting THCA to ∆9, and degrades a bunch of it to CBN and others. There’s a pretty thin section of material that gets heated to the right temperature, and quickly goes too hot when reached by the embers

Yes, but wouldn’t a fog machine full of cannabis extract be a much more pleasant way to hot box your house?

    Yes

Also, a kilogram of marijuana is somewhere in the realm of $1000 so maybe do something else.

As everyone has said, bad idea. But I honestly don’t think it will work, at least not well. I grew up with wood burners and enjoyed many open fireplaces, but the majority of your smoke is just going to go up the flue and out the chimney. There are poor choices you could make to mitigate that loss, but they’re just that, poor choices.

Bro, you could make 1 baby’s arm-sized joint and 30 of the strongest weed brownies ever made, plus a helping of weed-not-oregano pasta for dinner and do the job 100 times better.
