WASHINGTON (AP) — Alex Pretti was forcefully taken to the ground by federal immigration agents after kicking out the tail light of their vehicle during a Minneapolis protest 11 days before he was shot and killed by Border Patrol officers, videos that emerged Wednesday show.
The Jan. 13 scuffle was captured in a pair of videos that show Pretti shouting an expletive at the federal officers and struggling with them. His winter coat comes off when he’s on the ground and he either breaks free or the officers let him go and he scurries away.
And? What is this telling me? He deserved to die? Ill never understand how someone thinks showing stuff like this means what they did was now justified. They still murdered an innocent man when that should never happen.
You’re assuming OP’s intent or the writers intent. It shows it was premeditated murder, not a random killing. It also shows ICE and CBP have the means to quickly find you back once they identified you. Cover your face.
I think it shows it was revenge murder.
They will try to say that he was coming after then with the gun for revenge, but if anything, this just makes them look worse imo
I mean I just got called Noem for saying the dog in the house on fire meme should now also be in flames. It just goes to show people will say and mean one thing and others will hear something entirely different, sometimes intentionally.
I don’t know who was involved in this earlier event, but I heard a hypothesis that they were more brutal this time because he “didn’t listen.” Sounds like something they would do. The earlier video might help establish that with the later one.
This is proof that they’re taking down names and following up. Premeditated murder now instead of “ice altercation gone wrong”
