The problem here in my opinion is Newsome implying that Netanyahu is the only problem, which is like saying Trump is the only thing rotten with the US. Zionism isn’t Netanyahu, Netanyahu is a Zionist.

By saying he is appealing to the far right, means that far right exists in a capacity large enough to garner decent sized support appealing to them. I don’t read this at all as saying N is the only problem.

It’s not actually possible to garner support from the far right by appealing to them without going far to the right on every issue. They aren’t undecided voters, winning them over requires being farther to the right than the candidates they already support.

Go to the right on Israel without going to the right on trans issues, environmental issues, immigration, regulations, taxes, etc then they’ll ignore you. Why vote for diet right-wing when they can vote for the real thing?

By saying he’s appealing to the “far right” he’s trying to imply that the whole Israeli political spectrum isn’t genocidal freaks. So he’s lying

Israelis voted for Netenyahu 6 goddamn time. Every single goddamn isrseli prime ministers support occupation and is a war criminal . Israel is a democracy so there is zero excuses for voting for war criminals.

You can’t love a country that still do settler colonialism

Politicians won’t get anywhere saying every person in the U.S. and Israel are fucking horrible,

      False

No, sorry, when you’re an apartheid state that has engaged in genocide, you shouldn’t be revered any more. That’s going to take a bit more than a change of leadership to fix.

It is what you say. If Hitler was not the first nazi head of the state you couldn’t say I have an issue with Hitler but no issue with nazi germany. The same thing with Israel it is ruled by the supermaist ideology called zionism from the start you can’t say i hate Netenyshu but not isrsel as colonial state

There is no two state solution: Isreal deliberately destroyed it with full consensus support from the entire political spectrum there. The opposition also opposes the two state solution! You. Are. Lying.

No, that’s completely different, Netanyahu is a person, not a regime; what the other person said is accurate

The two state solution is completely dead and rejected by the entire Israeli political spectrum, anyone still sprukeing it is doing so in bad faith.

Yeah, that’s why I didn’t bother downvoting anyone. Really there is no easy solution. Studying the ways that states/groups/cultures have been able to reintegrate and achieve prosperity post the segregation/divide and conquer tactics during British occupation in areas around the world may point to tactics that do and don’t work. Ultimately an integrated society that learns their neighbors beliefs and pursuit of happiness does not infringe upon their own and they should push for a community that values all of their pursuits so they can prosper together would be great… But that’s just all nonsensical words to people who have been taught for so long that a person is A if they believe/look/walk/talk like such. And therefore they are different from them in group B,C,D or what not, and can not be trusted.

One thing is for sure, the people of the U.S. won’t be of any help in creating an ongoing peaceful solution to those elsewhere in the world when we cannot find ways to implement better relations here ourselves.
