    Saw one episode.

The cook spent most of the time prepping one dish, a stuffed pasta…and finally…after hours of prep and beautifully plating it…she tasted it.

… couldn’t watch the rest of it.

And then the “restaurant’ they work in is basically a sub shop.

It’s a wonderful show, and I don’t know the scene you’re referring to but they do tend to spend a lot of time creating dishes, which I suppose is something chefs do when coming up with something new. But what gets me is when they are outside of the professional kitchen and cooking for someone. It’s happened a few times where someone says they are hungry, and so one of the chefs will ‘whip up something’… and it’s like a whole process. Once it even involved a trip to the grocery store, and that was when a kid was hungry.

Even still, it’s a great show.

As a chef. That what it is like especially in the city.

Most people do not have a well stocked pantry. Overall show is okay, lost me after season 2.

I’m still trying to figure out how this show wins best comedy or musical lol. It’s not even remotely close to being either of those.

The last few seasons have been pretty……eh. Too slow moving.
