Letterman in particular has been a vocal critic of CBS’ decision, most recently calling the network “lying weasels” in an interview with New York Timesjournalist Jason Zinoman: “He was dumped because the people selling the network to Skydance said, ‘Oh no, there’s not going to be any trouble with that guy. We’re going to take care of the show. We’re just going to throw that into the deal. When will the ink on the check dry?’ I’m just going to go on record as saying: They’re lying. Let me just add one other thing, Jason. They’re lying weasels.”
Heh. Sic, ‘em Dave.
Whatever he ends up doing is going to be far better than the late show. This will be a net win for the rest of us.
So the two Jimmy’s that made a career out of vomiting low effort pop culture bullshit and then some good, actual talent.
Fallon is much worse. Completely talentless, doesn’t know how to interview, doesn’t know when it’s best to let the interviewee speak, apolitical in a world where that’s no longer appropriate, comes up with the lamest comedy bits.
Grandma’s like fallon
I’m surprised they didn’t invite any comedians
Ooooooh damn
I hate the Jimmy’s but I think Seth and John have talent.
