Hey this is what I’m doing my PhD dissertation on.
Kinda funny because I thought it was the opposite.

Unexpected spelling, but actually those are the key points of the article:
- Women get Alzheimer’s more than men, but mostly because they live longer.
- The gene that matters most affects more women than men.
- The jury is still out on how hormone therapy might relate to dementia.
- More research is needed before clinicians treat Alzheimer’s differently in women and men.
- The same lifestyle interventions are recommended in men and women – but the effects could be different.
You’d think any study would use life-span-adjusted stats, but I almost never see that.
