Obamacare made it suck less for some people like my partner who survived childhood leukemia who can’t have a “pre-existing condition” held against them. More than 50 million people have been covered by the ACA since 2024 with more than 24 million currently enrolled as of 2025. Many of those are people making less than 150% of the federal poverty level.
