Because of its military background, experts have warned about the presence of mine-like weapons and other unexploded ordnances dotted across the landscape that will need to be cleared in order for the destination to become safe for visitors.
Can’t wait for Trump quality on this.
Hidden tunnels and bunkers sound ideal for disappearing and people trafficking. Kushner is Epstein 2.0. They needed a younger model after the original was disappeared and the clone/twin was used for distraction instead of replacement.
Oh, already making their getaway after stealing as much as they can?
It’s Epstein Island 2.0
Albania’s state anti-corruption agency has confirmed it opened an investigation related to the project but has not disclosed details.
The government says the land earmarked for the project is privately owned but competing claims have emerged questioning the privatisation, a common dispute on similar deals.
Prime Minister Rama remains committed and says the development would align with Albania’s ambition to become a major global tourism destination.
aiming to boost its high-end tourism sector and support its bid for European Union membership.
Albania pretty much already have their EU membership accepted. If anything, this blatant corruption will set them back a few steps. (Not that the EU aren’t corrupt, but they like to gesture and do things that make it look like they’re against it).
I don’t know where did you get your information from? AFAIK Albania hasn’t closed even single EU accession chapter, can they possibly be any further away from membership then that?
Okay, slight exaggeration, they are rapidly advancing, and all is expected to be finalised in 2027, with them being accepted behind Montenegro, but my point is that this sort of thing wouldn’t work in their favour imho, it definitely reads like it would work against them, with the EU claiming to favour ecological areas and greenwashing over tourism atm.
Rapidly advancing in which measure if they hasn’t agreed on single chapter since 2022? And according to you they’ll magically close all chapters within a year?
Not according to me, and my point remains the same. But a quick search using those exact words…
- Albania has emerged as one of the most rapidly advancing EU candidate countries, having opened all negotiation clusters and aiming to complete talks by 2027
- rapid advancement masks notable challenges
- From Wikipedia
In October 2024, Albania aimed to be ready for accession by 2030, a timeline acknowledged by Prime Minister Edi Rama as “very ambitious.”[6] Following his party’s victory in the 2025 parliamentary elections, Emmanuel Macron suggested that Albania could potentially join as early as 2027, citing renewed political momentum.
As of 2026, the European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos indicated that Albania could complete its negotiations by 2027, potentially entering the EU shortly after Montenegro.

“Fast Track” Plan for Negotiations (2024-2027)
Albania remains committed to continuing the path of reforms and cooperation with the EU, engaging in a “fast track” plan for full and deserved membership in the European family. The primary goal is to fulfill all technical and institutional requirements for the country’s membership in the EU by 2027.
The priorities include opening all negotiation chapters by 2025, as well as closing them and addressing the corresponding conditions set by the European Commission by 2027.
That’s just loads of assumptions, just because they opened all chapters doesn’t mean anything, it took Montenegro 14 years to close those 33 out of 35 chapters yet you speculate Albania could somehow go through all those reforms within a year, that’s definitely not happening.
👍 🙄 😅
