Mormon leaders, military veterans and elected officials reacted with anger to a new Department of Defense policy that does not consider The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be a Christian religion as part of a wider effort to cut down the U.S. military’s list of recognized faiths.
“The Pentagon’s decision to list The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints apart from other Christian faiths is wrong and needs to be corrected,” Republican Rep. Mike Kennedy, of heavily Mormon Utah, wrote on X on Sunday.

Uh ohhh, the inner circle is shrinking
The people who thought they’d be in the ‘in group’ once again find themselves in the ‘out group’ who could have possibly seen this coming?
First they came for the trade unionists.
Then they came for absolutely no one else.
The inner circle is always shrinking, it’s part of the fascistic “eternal struggle” bullshit; there’s always got to be an enemy.
If Hegsworth wasn’t drunk he could have played an Uno reverse and asked the Mormon’s who gets in their heaven.
But them fracturing early is a huge boon to the rest of us. The Christian right has sunk a lot of time, efforts, and their daughters into converting our military officers, especially in the Air Force. Not to mention how they go after young politicians desperate for funding.
But trump is co-opting their plans and forcing them early.
If they had another decade or two, they’d likely have their faithful in full control of our government and military, then we wouldn’t even have noticed a coup. They’d have just denied it was happening and pretended it was coincidence.
Zionists mutter knowingly amongst themselves in babykiller.
me when dealing with electoralist who thought their ‘in-party’ will once implement issue X find themselves in the ‘out-party’ who could have possibly seen electoralism coming?
enemy of ‘perfection’ propaganda
I’m not sure I’m understanding what you’re hinting at with this line
same thing ThePyroPython replied to you. A Democrat or Republican, the in-party will always find a way to outstrip your rights every ballot. You’re nothing but a vote for their seats in office.
Unless, I am wrong, and I am speaking to a Senator.
What reaction were you hoping from this comment?
His point is “both sides” even though it’s very clearly bullshit here.
What’s bullshit about the Electoral College?
Everything about the electoral college is bullshit.
Then why do you keep it?
Reaction? Are we both not progressives?
Are you in power? ’Cause I empower people. Do you?
Empower? You really lost me here
Horizontalidad
You might have to explain that a little more…
