Goods on major Russian e-commerce platforms like Wildberries and Ozon have increased in price by up to 30% following extensive Ukrainian drone strikes on logistics facilities.
Russia has been attacking infrastructure in Ukraine since 2022. If your prescription is ‘simply weather the storm until Russia gives up’ you are, either, one of the dumbest people alive or you’re a manipulative PoS. I would say the exact same thing to someone suggesting Iran simply give up and let the U.S. take what they want.
That’s not what I said. I said that we shouldn’t celebrate the damage done to Russians by attacks like thus; at best it’s unfortunate collateral damage.
Make that clearer in the future, for your own sake - I agree with you that this shouldn’t be celebrated. The problem is that Russians haven’t done anything about their media being captured - whether they do or don’t, most people believe that Russians overwhelmingly support the war when the reality is that most probably don’t really know what to think about it.
Those people who don’t know what to think are the majority. This shows them that they can’t idly sit by and let this play out. I think that, in and of itself, is a good thing. It sucks that it takes this and will probably take more to wake them the fuck up, but that’s what it is.
People blame Americans for Trump’s military, right? Why should anyone treat Russians/Putin differently?
Your logic follows:
war is ok when no civilian casualties
war is bad when civilian casualties
