Reality sucks in large doses, I prefer to microdose consciousness as much as I can and spend the rest of my time not here

My doctor once asked if I had any hobbies. I told him the only thing I want to do with my free time is to sleep.

So anyway, I was diagnosed with major depression.

That’s why I recommend becoming an an aunt or uncle; you have kids but on a schedule and when they start to get irritating you can go back to being childless.

If we didn’t have to sleep we’d be forced to work 18hrs a day.

Cooking. I love to cook but at minimum 30 minutes for the family. Eat, cleanup at least a hour and a half of your evening gone.

      Actually I hate the cleanup

I’m like this with shitting. It’s so insisingly inconvenient.

“Oooh. I’m in the middle of something, but you go right ahead bowel. Go on, let’s go spend the next five minutes making smell and needing cleaning… Fucking asshole.”

We get the shit end of the anatomy stick because our rectum doesn’t prolapse a bit, making cleaning necessary.

Had a small bout a few years ago. Think I had 4 hours of sleep in about 72 hours. I realized I needed to sleep because I kept dropping stuff from micro naps. I’ve always been a night owl but I struggle to make it past midnight anymore

It comes and goes for me. Some nights I’ll just be up not matter what. Fell asleep flying a plane in battlefield 1. Was a “oh fuck! Ground!” When I came to and saw myself plummeting towards a desert floor.

Best for me was Apex. Went to revive my buddy. Fell asleep. Ran straight past him and off an edge. Woke up to “wtf G wtf G!” (tag starts with G)

Feature, not a bug. At least for me. Sleep is time away from the bad place.

I go to sleep because that’s the only place I can actually be what I want and have what I want but then I keep waking up.

In general, people don’t tend to give themselves actual down time anymore (not looking at a screen. taking a walk, reading a book, or sitting around type shit) so when we have that level of relaxation all the built up anxiety and exhaustion comes crashing down all at once. So sleep.

Jeez, I feel that. I just started a new job with the hours of 4:00 AM to 12:30 and I have to take a nap every day when I get home.

I love cardio. I miss being in the rhythm of a regular run with some biking thrown in. Plus walks with the dog are usually pleasant (when he’s not trying to bath the entire neighborhood in his pee)
