The survey, conducted last week, asked 15,000 people to assess President Trump’s decision-making as the crucial 2026 midterm elections approach.
“‘Dumb’” is such a polite word," one commented.
“I think it’s pretty obvious to anyone with an IQ over 90. Even kids think he’s stupid,” another joked.

I think the apt answer is: “is he making decisions that actually make the US better?” He has made billions. He has hugely benefited his personal allies, allies that are not your allies. He did every shady thing he could do right in front of the entire population and still nothing has been done to really stop him. He gave a friend of his millions to clean a pool and they clearly were just stealing mob style and that was what we saw in plain view.
Stop bringing reality into my fantasy that everyone agrees with me and this will turn around.

If this study is accurate then no. If he were, whatever percentage of the population you call dumb would then describe him as smart. Unless you only consider less than 6% of people dumb then it can’t be the case.
Magats don’t want a smart person. They want someone just as dumb or even dumber than they are.
The same goes for his felonies, his child rapes, his failed businesses, and his astounding corruption. They love him because of these things, not despite them. He’s is the perfect representative the magat class.
This makes sense. The president is supposed to be held to a higher standard, on a level of Overton Window reasoning, which is what this demographic mostly operates on, this means that the president is viewed to be objectively at that level by default, regardless of who they are and what they do, the position/system wouldn’t allow otherwise, this allows subjective justification of anything above that line as not only acceptable but superior morality. “If the president can rape kids then I can use the n-word!” Levels of thinking. Him setting the bar at the floor allows some people to think that their bar is really high. Him being the president, with no other factors involved, enables a false sense of morality in a certain demographic of people. He validates them as honorable, and they take that personally.

It’s still an unrelated survey, not the one the article is about. It’s better than a twitpoll, but the 15k sample size got me excited in a way a 1500 sample size doesn’t.
Raw sample size means very little when you’re wanting statistically significant information. A properly prepared poll can get a statistically representative response from as little as 100 responses as long as you’re not needing something like 1% margins.
On the other hand, a twitter poll will self-select based on that userbase. It won’t be an representative base of the country/world… but it will give a statistically representative response for the group of users still on and actively using the MechaHitler site. MechaHitler social media users giving a 96% response like this is insane. Twitter is nearly as far from a left wing bastion as you can get, other than Truth Social.

Literally when I would say i would support the other candidate other than the republican it would go into crazy talking points about Trans rights and stuff and give me an option to change my vote.

I really enjoy those surveys because there’s usually a fill in part at some point and I use then to express the most blasphemous opinions possible. When one survey was trying to gauge at what point abortion should be legal, I wrote in that if it’s still attached to me by umbilical cord I get to crush its skull between my thighs as a conservative limit.
As someone from outside the US … the abortion stuff is wild to me. It’s between the mother and doctor to me … I don’t see a point in people who aren’t knowledgeable about this process to chime in.
You’d surprised. We got these crazies protesting on a regular basis here in Switzerland. Sure, they got no power other than disturbing the public transportation, but they exist. Usually they need to be protected by huge police tricks.
