Mexican Insanity Chili.
1kg of 50mg thc gummies
Smoked bacon jalapeño poppers. Stuffed with cream cheese cilantro and lime juice
Cilantro tastes like soap
Depends on the time of year. In summer I might do a watermelon salad with tomatoes, cucumber, feta. In winter more likely a made-from-scratch mac and cheese with chorizo.
Smoked haddock kedgeree. Easy to put in the oven quickly if its cooled down a bit and its something likely to be unique.
Roast potatoes, cheap and easy to make large quantities for and they can still be good cool.
Beer cheese and bratwurst dip.
I do not care if it’s unappreciated and/or unwanted, but there’s no way I am not bringing either my homemade mac n cheese or homemade tuna noodle casserole. Preferably option 2.
wine or store bought dessert.
Probably some kind of beans and rice with onions and herbs and a little bacon thrown in. I’m lazy.
If I wanted to impress, a tray of homemade lasagna that’ll make your toes curl.
Scalloped Potatoes with lots of cream and ham inside.
Mannerströms Surströmming. It’s fine, the party will leave and I’ll eat it by myself again.
ALL OF THE CHEESE

SO MUCH FUCKING CHEESE

Cheese of the day: CréMonté Paladin CréMonté is a German blue cheese encased in a white mould. It has a pleasant smooth texture with a special creaminess, even though it contains only 34% fat.

A friend of mine hates cheese (I know, none of us understand it), and she got a job in Switzerland. She worked remotely, but every time she had to go there for company gatherings and such she had to endure endless amounts of fondue and raclette 😆
Ha. Same comment. Your cheese love is strong.

(use 1/3 the sugar)Might try something like that with the sourdough I usually use. Got a nice big cast iron pan already.
Sourdough that I have been making lately: add flour to bowl and pour in some boiling water. Mix and allow to cool, shouldn’t be so much water that it forms a dough yet. Once cool, add sourdough starter and enough water to form dough. Then leave for a few hours or all day to rise and then bake.
The hot water reacts with the starches to gelatinise which cold water doesn’t. Results in softer bread, I think it works by holding moisture better.
Interesting, will try.
Creamy potato salad!
Pot, if you’re lucky 🤷🏻
