Russia had invaded a sovereign country unprovoked, whereas Israel was responding to an attack.

Russia is an invader, Israel is a settler colonial power there is no major difference . 7 of october is an unjustifiable terrorist attack but it was not unprovoked. Settlers in the west bank never stopped attacking palestinians civilians. Israel never stopped stealing more land

Israel does not damage opposition and gay people at least. But we need both country’s to have a different leadership in them.

Pinkwashing is a propaganda tactic used by Israel to garner support for their colonial takeover and genocide of the Palestinians. It’s a lot like when native Americans were called savages. The aim of Zionism is to wipe them off the face of the earth while simultaneously spreading propaganda that justifies the genocide by controlling the narrative. https://bdsmovement.net/pinkwashing

Clearly Israel only ever used special bombs, rockets, artilery shells and bullets which, when they detected a gay person, would change trajectory to avoid harming that person.

Believing that is the only way to possibly believe that Israel wasn’t harming gay people when arbitrarily bombing Gaza and even targetting refugee camps.

Ditto for “opposition people” or whatever other subset of the Palestinian population you can think of: Israel was literally targetting refugee camps and appartment buildings thus killing all kinds of people without exception.

Compared to what Israel did to Palestinian opposition and gay people, what even the most extremist of Hamas did to them is nothing.

Yeah, I just wanted to point out that by the very “logic” of that Propaganda, Israel is way more murderous towards gay Palestinians than Hamas.

It’s a propaganda line that falls flat in the face of even the simplest logical analysis.

One has to actually be a total idiot to believe that Israel is nicer to gay Palestinians than Hamas or think that everybody else are total idiots who will believe such nonsense.

I’m sure there is ton of secretly gay Palestinians that was brutality murdered by Israel. You need to stop justifying settler colonialism and use LGBT as political pawns. Even heavily homophobic population deserve to not get killed by a colonial power and live in dignity.

European settlers used to same rhetoric as yours to commit genocide against the indigenous populations like some first nations has some case of cannibalism and enslaving others

Israel is an Apartheid state (convicted) that is on trial for Genocide and whose political leadership is wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity.

        You can’t pinkwash that.

“You’ve been repeating several times that Russia should pay for the reconstruction of Ukraine,” Nunziati, who is a contractor with Nova, said at a press conference. “Do you believe that Israel should pay for the reconstruction of Gaza since they have destroyed almost all its civilian infrastructure?”

Well, how dare she ask such inflammatory questions in front of her betters. Journalists should know their place and only ask the pre-approved questions handed to them.

One thing that is entirely facepalm-worthy is this “explanation” the Nova agency gave:

Francesco Civita, a spokesperson for Nova, confirmed that the news agency had ended its relationship with Nunziati over his Gaza question. Civita said that Nunziati had been let go for asking a question that was “technically incorrect” because Russia had invaded a sovereign country unprovoked, whereas Israel was responding to an attack.

So, Pinho could have just made that case, right? There was nothing pushy or loaded about the question. If anything, if one truly believes that the two cases are so different, then they should actually want to be asked this question, as a chance to educate the public about the difference.

Not sure whether don’t understand that their actions are undermining their words, or they just don’t care. I mean, if you really care about being seen as the good guy, you would’t put out an explanation like this right? ‘We let go of a staff member because he asked one technically incorrect question’ really isn’t something a good guy would say, ever. I think they’re well aware they’re full of shit and only care about being on the good side of the Israeli government.

That’s the wrong way to look at it. Israel is a project of the West. Merz explained it: Israel is doing our dirty job.
