I could not find a proper way to Mistral as a coding agent without a corporate licence, in IDEs like Intellij Idea (their plugin even has Enterprise in the name), unlike other US LLMs, like Gemini.
Until they allow individual developers to do so easily, they are naively gate keeping Codestral and any coding relevant features.
Edit: I would gladly use their AI if it were more open for this use case.
I consider myself a skeptic, but if you really gotta use AI I think le chat is the way to do it for any european.
Le Chat is far better than GPT5 at coding, especially when not using English. I was surprised by how good it is given its smaller footprint in terms of international visibility. Furthermore, their edge model, ministral, Is surprisingly capable. Just run it offline on a small machine for a bit of fun. It’s also vision capable but I haven’t benched those capabilities on it.

This is a somewhat common practice in headlines (in English, at least), but would not be used in normal writing. It’s similar to how headlines almost never use the word “and”, instead replacing it with a comma. If I go to Reuters’ website just now I can quite quickly find headlines about “UK rocket maker Orbex”, “South Korea crypto exchange”, and “Argentina unions”.
That said, there are also a lot of headlines (including on Reuters) that don’t do this, and I have no idea what decides when it is or isn’t applied. I can just reassure you that no, this is not you misunderstanding English, it’s just a weird convention for news headlines specifically
